Easter’s coming up and that means shopping for treats for the kiddos. If your family is like mine, you’re probably trying to keep your kids from eating too much junk food. Each year I reach for more non candy Easter basket fillers.

I’ve also noticed that over the years what you can find for kids’ baskets has gotten better. Still, you might be looking for ideas. Here’s some of my favourite ones that my kids (ages 13 through 5) love waking up to on Easter morning.
Make bath time more fun some bath bombs as a fun Easter gift idea. I love them because they’re not candy, but they’re also not something that will be kicking around your house in a few months or end up in the landfill.
I don’t know about you, but I use Easter as an excuse to get my kids some things they’ve been wanting but we haven’t bought. Video games, especially the Switch ones, fit perfect inside Easter baskets. Great for older kids!
If you do decide to add a little bit of chocolate to your kids’ Easter baskets then opt for quality over quantity. I personally love Lindt brand, but you can pick whatever your little ones like best as a treat.
