I had every intention of getting this blog out sooner, but like the rest of the world, my kids have been sick… for like ever. If your work Christmas party has already passed, maybe you can order something in time for New Years Eve! And if not New Years, maybe just to have something shiny and new ready to go when the next event arises. I am itching to get dressed up after being boarded in for so many weeks. Shopping for ideas a Christmas party or NYE outfit is just what I need.
Fancy Event and Night Out Wear Ahead
Some very cute dress options, a couple rompers, some separates and lots of sparkle. Some of these feel pretty extreme while I am sitting in here in my finest sweatpants haha, but glitz and glam is fun once in a while! Even tacked on a few sparkly accessories – adding them to any outfit would instantly elevate them to party worthy. Without further adieu, party on Wayne!
Velvet and Christmas go hand in hand! Something about velvet just seems so luxurious, its a bit warmer too. The thickness of the fabric and ruching in all the right places, make the dress flattering as well as practical for the holiday season.
Love this off the shoulder number. The long mermaid fit is so elegant! Its a fairly simple yet stunning dress. Would be great for a holiday party or a black tie event. This dress is timeless and you’d be bound to get a lot of wear out of it. It comes in a few different colours as well.
I find high necks so beautiful! This one has a high neck but also a flutter of material on the higher cut slit. Its so sexy without showing much skin at all. In the winter I tend to opt for dresses with length, if you also live in a colder climate – I’m sure you can appreciate that.
The lace and satin combo of this one is so perfect! Classic materials, the scalloped neckline is so pretty. The fuller skirt is very cute and I also love the lenght of the sleeves.
The high low hem, the deep v neck but with coverage, the sparkles on top and the thick waistband… this one is just chef’s kiss! Absolutely stunning, comes in a few colours as well.
The reviews of this jumpsuit speak for themselves! The stretchy material makes this so wearable. The deep v and the wrap around belt with the wider leg pant, you will look a lot fancier than you feel, jumpers are great for that.
These pants are so 70s, pair them with literally any top! The flare, the sparkle, the geometric pattern of the sequins – these are a bit more of investment but they could be worm year after year.
The design within the beads on this dress is gorgeous! It is strapless though so keep that in mind when purchasing.
So sparkly! Be the disco ball of the night! Off the shoulder, deep v, the partially see through bottom… the puddle at the bottom of the mermaid is what drapery dreams are made of!
This short sleeve ombre sequinned dress is so fun! It has a v neck in the front as well as the back. There is no zipper, just easy stretch on and off. It comes in a variety of colours as well. Cute and easy to wear!
This dress is like a work of art! The design is so art deco era, the details are just stunning. A showstopper for sure, the high neck and long length just add to its elegance. Gold and black is such a beautiful colour combo.
Love the sleeves on this one. Looks similar to a fringe wing jacket. Would be so fun to see someone dancing the night away in this dress, think of how the sleeves would look during a spin?!? So fun!
The stripe on these pants is such a pop of fun. They are a bit more muted than some of the other options on this list but that makes them more wearable. More like a splash of sparkle than an entire in your face outfit. These would be cute with a simple button down. Or even a full on sequin tank to tie in the stripes.
Obsesssssed with this 2 piece suit! Wear something under it, or don’t, wear both pieces together, wear them separate. A sparkly blazer seems like the right accessory for so many amazing nights out. *adds to cart immediately*
This dress is a beaut! The deep v, the voluminous skirt, I love the overlay look – and comes in so many colours. Can show leg if you feeling it. Sexy little number.
One of my fave fashion influencer ladies shares this dress all the time, its been on my wish list for so long. Seems to look great on so many body types, the cape offers so coverage but still shows some skin at the shoulders. Again is so many colours, I noticed a pregnant girl wearing one at her gender reveal party in the reviews too, and it was so cute!
I’ve never seen anything like this in real life but I love the way it photographs! If you have any sort of insecurity around your arms this is the dress for you. It is also just so beautiful, and great for colder weather as well. Would be such a cute bridal shower dress in white as well.
I said it before already but there is nothing like the gold and black combo, it just looks so darn expensive. This dress is so interesting, with the swap of the colour blocks, sequins and velvet, long sleeves, midi but with the slit – its gorgeous.
This overlay is like a hologram! Toss it over any dress and ba’am you’re like the ball that drops at midnight! If you’re in warmer weather this would be awesome over a bodysuit or even a bathing suit!
I would’ve rocked this, 15 years ago…. now I’d be freezing and uncomfortable… but somebody somewhere might have this on their wish list. It is almost mirrored, its so fun – I hope you buy it. 😛
This dress belongs on dancing stars, or Jlo! The feathers are just the best, the swinging tassels, this dress was made to dance in! It comes in a bunch of colours and its pretty inexpensive too.
This glitter and gold clutch is like the cherry on top – it catches the light so beautifully! Great addition to any outfit!
This is marked as bridal but I say why not! It comes in gold and silver, and has a cross body chain or just a cute little arched handle for holding. Such a good piece to have for any fancy night out – just be careful, it may get caught on sequins.
These look like an upside down empire state building to me, love them so much! Would go great with so many of the dresses I’ve already shared. Also minimal enough to go great with a black tee and jeans.
These are actual post earrings, so the circles don’t cup your lobes, if that makes sense. That means the crystals will catch maximum sparkle to light up your face all night long! If I stick with the city scape theme, these actually make me think of the statue of liberty’s crown. They also come in a variety of colours.
Sparkly tear drops – sign me up!
This is so pretty, needs no introduction at all. The juxtaposition of this paired with a white tee and ripped jeans would also be hot.
Another stunner, slightly more subtle though. Like a Greek goddess collar!
Ad the final piece de resistance – a glitter thick heeled bootie!! Can you even?!?!?! I cannot. The thick heel will even make these comfortable. These are the right answer to all the questions.
