Spring is my favourite season. Not only does my birthday happen in spring but I also just love the melting of the snow and changing of the season. It also means I tend to put my spring decor out a lot earlier than most people.
I absolutely love the colours that spring decorating brings. Pinks, yellows, pale blues… These hues are perfect for perking someone up after a long winter.
Farmhouse Inspired Spring Decor Ideas
Since I love spring decor so much I tend to pick up more neutral items that can be used throughout the summer too. My spring decor is different from my Easter decorations, which I also put out in the spring but take down after the holiday.
Looking for another season? Here’s some ideas for fall.
Our home is decorated really eclectically. It’s an older place so we’ve added our own unique touches and elements to it. I love vintage finds, antiques, and farmhouse style decor (we live in the country after all!)
This list of style spring decor ideas reflects that. There’s a bit of everything and it has a lot of neutral pieces that can fit into different decorating styles.
Violet and Daisy Wreath
When looking for a spring wreath I like to choose bring colours and spring style flowers. I love the way this one isn’t too overpowering with the florals – there’s a great mix of greenery in there.

Eucalyptus Garland Greenery
Boxwood greenery looks great in almost any home. I like to put garland on the mantle or on top of my piano, but there’s plenty of ways you can use something like this around your home.

Metal Birdcage Candle Holder
Somehow birdcages have also become ubiquitous with spring so I had to include one on this list. I love the distressed white this one comes in – it really gives off a vintage vibe. Since it’s metal you can use a battery operated or real candle inside which is perfect for setting the mood all season long.

Ceramic Jug Set
These jugs aren’t exactly spring specific but the soft muted colours will not only tone down your brighter spring decor, they’ll also compliment the other elements of you home since they’re neutral. Great if you’re like me and have a bright blue wall in the living room!

Galvanized Metal Watering Can Flower Holder
I personally use an antique pitcher as a vase in my living room but there’s plenty of great imitations like this one out there. Since it’s metal it should go with any decor style and space. For something like this, though, I’d stick to artificial flowers only.

Artificial Tulips
Nothing says spring like tulips! I love that you can get them in so many bright spring decor friendly colours and they look vibrant in almost any room. These ones are fake which is perfect for setting in your nicer vases and enjoying them all season long.

Rustic Lattice Tablecloth
This tablecloth is absolutely gorgeous. I love the muted blue colour for spring and the lattice stitching gives it a bit of texture. Tassels are super in right now and if you were looking for a way to bring some of those elements into your home linens like this are an easy and cost effective way to experiment.

Spring Throw Pillow
This yellow bike pillow is super cute. Even if it seems like the bike print wont match, the linen look will help this throw pillow look great against almost any pattern. Add it to a chair, toss in on the couch, or use it in the bedroom. Keep in mind this one doesn’t include the insert so make sure you pick one up if you don’t have one handy.

Tulips Galvanized Metal Table Tray
This tray would be perfect on your table for Easter dinner and could stay there all spring long – and maybe even into summer. Add some greenery and candles or use it to corral useful table items. The flowers are only one one side so it would also look cute on a shelf, side table, or mantle.

Peony Bouquet
Peonies are another one of my favourite spring flowers. In fact, I have multiple bushes in my own yard that I will snip and put in vases. But those flowers don’t last so I also like to add some low maintenance silk peonies around the house too. If you’re putting these in a vase I suggest you buy 2 bunches.
Each bunch has 6 flowers and 13 stems – See it on Amazon
Ceramic Bird Figurine Set
Birds are essential for spring decor and I couldn’t resist adding this adorable set to the list. The little bit of destressing gives them a vintage or shabby chic look and they’d be adorable on tables, mantles, window ledges, and shelves.

Artificial Rose Garland
Garlands like this one are a great way to add a pop of spring colour into a room. You can use them on a banister, as an accent for your mantle piece, of draped over your table setting. The best part is you’ll always have some roses handy if you want to decorate for special occasions like Mother’s Day or Valentine’s Day.

Pink Throw Blanket
I love decor elements that are as functional as they are visually appealing. If you want to add a bit of spring vibrancy to your living room or bedroom, but don’t want to change out too much or have no room for decoration, try draping a spring coloured throw pillow instead. Not only is it pretty- it’s super soft for snuggling up on those chillier spring days.

Vintage Florals Botanical Wood Plaques
Botanicals say spring, but this is also something you could leave up all year around if you’d like. I personally swap out some of my artwork based on the seasons but you could also lean this on top of your mantle, on a shelf, or even the kitchen counter.

Artificial Flowers in a Vase
I love this set because it comes with the vase and everything. Roses are usually a sign of romance but white ones like this, especially paired with eucalyptus greenery, are perfect for spring decorating. It’s a smaller arrangement so be aware that it might be too tiny for a table setting (I would grab 2!)

Lemon Dishcloth Set
Spring can be tricky if you’re not info florals. Thankfully lemons do the trick too! Brighten up your kitchen in an instant by hanging one of these on your oven door, or use them for your spring and summer entertaining.

I stumbled on these brass birds by accident and immediately fell in love with them. They’re so cute and modern, but still perfect for spring. If you have gold elements in your home something like this is a perfect way to tie seasonal decor into your existing style.
